Xoloitzcuintles and COX hold autograph session at Escondido remodeled store

ESCONDIDO (April 10, 2018) –Food, music, some dancing and a bunch of smiles were part of an autograph session Tuesday at the COX Solutions Store in Escondido.

It was a festive atmosphere to celebrate the grand reopening of the COX Communications store in North San Diego County. And the Xoloitzcuintles were part of the festivities.

Omar Mendoza, Hiram Muñoz, Rubio Rubin and Damian Musto had the chance to meet with fans at the new showroom. The Xoloitzcuintles faithful got the opportunity to engage in conversation with the players, get autographs and pose for the typical selfie. The players signed soccer balls, jerseys, posters, shirts, cards, team memorabilia and even a dog collar.

The Xolo Mayor was here to help animate the fans with his tactics and sneaky ways to “photo bomb” pictures and selfies. The Xolo Girls also took part in the event that featured local radio stations activating in the store’s parking lot.

A standout moment was when a young man engaged in a deep conversation with Mendoza about playing youth soccer. The young man received a few tips from the Club Tijuana midfielder and also from Rubin, the striker.

The players finished the autograph session by signing a team jersey as a gift to the store management and also posed for a “team” photo with the COX staff.

Club Tijuana and COX have had a partnership for several years now and continue to work together to bring fans closer to the fans in San Diego.
